About Rein Control

Rein Control helps teams give AI agents useful access while keeping a clear boundary around what those agents can do. The Rein CLI runs operations on an enrolled machine, identifies the device and calling agent, evaluates each routed operation against ordered policy rules, and reports the decision to the control plane.

What Rein provides

Teams can register devices and agent identities, define environments, allow or deny tools and commands, require a human approval for sensitive work, and review activity after execution. The local Gateway connects MCP-capable hosts such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Hermes Agent, and OpenClaw to Rein’s governed execution path.

How to evaluate Rein

Start with the documentation, install the CLI, and test a harmless read operation. Review the OpenAPI specification when building an integration. Rein does not claim to govern native tools that bypass its configured MCP or CLI path; every host needs a separate restriction and verification step.
